2026 Monterrey Open at Club Sonoma
The Abierto GNP Seguros brings a WTA 500 field to Club Sonoma from August 23–29, 2026. The outdoor hard-court event has a compact 28-player singles draw and 16-team doubles draw, so seeded singles players may receive first-round byes.
The tournament grew with Monterrey
The event was founded in 2009 and became a WTA Tour tournament in 2021. It moved up to WTA 500 status in 2024, giving the city a higher-level stop on the women’s calendar.
